History
Established in 1995 by Mike Dawes and Pete Burton, whose skills combine more than 80 years experience in sub contract manufacturing.
With a clear determination and vision to become one of the UK's top precision engineering companies, the team at Dawton's set out to achieve two main aims:
- To recruit a highly motivated and professional work force (five people made it through to final selection out of 117 applications from within Sheffield's skilled work force.
- To buy and install, within 10 days, one of every type of machine it was thought the market place needed.
Now with a work force of twenty engineers and by developing our scope into CNC machines we are in a prime position to keep pace with the demands of the market and can service both existing and new customers with new technology and increased efficiency.
